Entrepreneurs Get a Shot at Pitching Their Idea to Kansas City Area Investors at StartFest

PRLog (Press Release) - May 16, 2012 - The event space in the Downtown Underground will be filled with excitement on Thursday evening, May 24th as ten area entrepreneurs get their shot at pitching their business concept to a room full of investors and business leaders all looking for the next great idea. In the wings will be other entrepreneurs watching and looking for pointers on how they can polish up their presentations before they get their big moment.

According to event organizers Robb Murry and Seth Meinzen of StartKC, these events are a great opportunity for every aspiring entrepreneur to see how pitches are done and get the chance for everyone to network and meet the investors and business leaders in an informal event. "Sure there are presenters at these events that connect with an investor and they end up working together straight from the presentation, but just as many entrepreneurs have found their financial partners by just meeting at an event and building a relationship over time", emphasizes StartKC Founder, Seth Meinzen.
