UC Irvine Extension to Host Digital Innovations Webinar

(May 16, 2012) — The University of California, Irvine Extension, in conjunction with the Internet Marketing Association, will host its second Internet Marketing Webinar Series free online webinar titled “Digital Renaissance in the Age of Analytics.” This webinar, which will provide an inside look at today’s digital renaissance, will be held Wednesday, May 12 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. PDT.  Matthew Langie, director of product marketing at Adobe Systems, is the webinar’s panelist.
   “The Internet Marketing Webinar Series provides professionals with new and compelling information that is impacting the way business is conducted across the nation,” said Melanie Mitchell, director of marketing, management and business programs at UC Irvine Extension. “Langie’s discussion of the parallels between the Italian Renaissance and our most recent digital revolution will change professional’s perception of internet marketing.”  
   Langie has extensive experience in software and internet marketing.  He is currently responsible for marketing Adobe Systems industry-leading online marketing solutions with responsibilities spanning product strategy, messaging and positioning, pricing, and product evangelism. Langie will provide webinar participants with a comparison look at today’s advancements in science, art, architecture, and culture with the Italian Renaissance advancements spanning the 1400s. The webinar will also include a thought-provoking discussion that juxtaposes the leaders from across today’s digital innovations with those innovators of the Italian Renaissance whose impact is still felt today.
The free Internet Marketing Webinar Series introduces participants to the concepts of analytics, digital marketing intelligence, online events, cloud marketing and more. The next free webinar in the Internet Marketing Webinar Series will be held on June 27. Additional webinars featuring hosts from notable companies including UBM Studios, Google, and more will be held in the coming months.
