Local Toastmasters club now meeting at the Assisi Foundation of Memphis
The Assisi Foundation of Memphis is located at 515 Erin Ave., Memphis, TN 38117. Talk of the Town Toastmasters meets every Thursday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. This is the first relocation in the history of the club.
“We are very pleased with our new location, it is a very professional and inviting setting,” said Kathryn Folkerts, club president.
The relocation by Talk of the Town Toastmasters moves the location from nearby Clark Tower at 5100 Poplar Ave, where the club had met since November 2000.
The club’s move was precipitated by the imminent move of its host company to a new smaller location.
“Our new location is very centrally located and convenient for professionals from Midtown, East Memphis, and Germantown to reach easily and quickly,” added Eddie Settles, vice-president education.
Guests are always welcome at Talk of the Town Toastmasters meetings, and participation is always voluntary. If you would like more information about Talk of the Town Toastmasters, please visit our website at www.memphistm.com.
