Staff members will give tours of the facility and attendees will have an opportunity to meet the various class instructors. Complimentary hotdogs and beverages will be served along with cake, Starbuck’s coffee and goodies from Bagel Queen.
Entertainment will include Tampa Bay swim team demonstrations and the Guinness World Record for longest continuous Pickleball game.
This party is free to attend and open to the public.
The facility will be closed to regular activities during the event, however will re-open for regularly scheduled activities at 1 p.m.
Information will also be available about the recreation center’s Summer Camp for kids starting in June and the new membership rates for residents and non-residents now in effect.

The Recreation & Aquatic Center, located at 6630 Van Buren Street in New Port Richey just south of Main Street, is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
