PWR Announces "Pedal for Patriots"

May 16, 2012 - PRLog -- The PWR Charity Foundation announced it is now signing up entrants for “Pedal for Patriots”, a fun bike/walk event and carnival-themed party on Saturday, June 9. It is estimated that nearly 200 bicyclists and walkers will participate in the event, which will kickoff at the PWR Anaheim Office, and travel through the scenic Santa Ana River Trail towards the beach.  
“Whether you decide to take a leisurely stroll with your family, or bike with your friends or coworkers, it’ll be a fun event you won’t want to miss. We’ll also have a party with food and drinks, face painting for the kids, and even a dunk tank!” said Laura Patterson, Event Chair.
Proceeds for Pedal for Patriots benefit “Opening Doors for Men & Women in Uniform”.  This program provides any qualified US Armed Forces veteran with cash for costs not covered by a VA loan in their home buying transaction.
