Mark Tibbert, aged 33 joins the firm as a senior tax manager as part of its strategic expansion plans to continually extend and improve client services.
Chartered Accountant Mr Tibbert previously worked at the Cheltenham office of multi-site accountancy practice Hazlewoods for a period of four years. The firm is listed in the UK’s top 40 accountancy practices and has a strong presence throughout the South West.
Mr Tibbert attained his professional qualifications whilst working at global firm PwC, the largest of the ‘Big Four’ accountancy firms in the UK that has offices world-wide. In his previous employments he was involved in advising a range of owner managed businesses, most recently healthcare clients by helping them to become more tax efficient. He also has extensive experience in the complex field of corporate mergers and acquisitions.
As a fitness fanatic Mr Tibbert is a keen mountain biker and lives in the village of Upleadon in north Gloucestershire. He is delighted to take up his appointment with Ballards as he feels he will benefit from far more hands-on client contact at the Droitwich based firm. His decision to join a smaller, yet rapidly expanding, firm was to gain more experience in helping clients to achieve their business aspirations.
