PORON® Cushioning Teams up with 2012 Reach the Beach Relay Race Series

May 16, 2012 - PRLog -- May 16, 2012; Woodstock, CT – Slated as one of the best relays in the country, the Reach the Beach Relay has become a sought-after, long-distance race by runners of all abilities.  

The PORON Cushioning Team is pleased to announce that it is a 2012 sponsor of this highly anticipated 200-mile relay that takes place May 18-19 in Massachusetts and September 14-15 in New Hampshire.  

The Reach the Beach Relay concept is quite simple. Teams consist of 12 members who run three legs ranging between three to eight miles depending on difficulty.  At the finish line, all team members are greeted with live music, hot food and cold beverages, and celebrate by sharing stories about their experiences along the course.  From the elite runner down to the novice jogger, it is the perfect relay for anyone.

Reach the Beach Relay started 13 years ago in New Hampshire.  Due to the race’s huge success, and numerous requests from athletes around New England, race organizers added the Massachusetts race in 2011 to test the expansion model.  This year, Reach the Beach is adding an event in New Jersey.
