Surrealist pieces of art have always been popular, but now these pieces are becoming affordable to everyone.  There are numerous emerging artists beginning to promote their work online and it gives collectors the opportunity to acquire potentially valuable pieces for very affordable prices.  With an increase in gallery attention C.J.Cairns is one such artist who has started to gain a following.  

Collecting art has become more popular and more available to the general public over the last decade.  Collectors are now able to purchase and sell original signed limited edition works of art on online sites on a 24/7 basis.  Once purchased, the collectors can find that their original piece of signed art increases its value quickly when all the available pieces are sold; simply the process of supply and demand.
