Young British Designers Launch American Tour

May 16, 2012 - PRLog -- London, UK  – Online retailer Young British Designers (www.youngbritishdesigners.com) launches US tour beginning 17 May 2012.

"We are excited to send Felicity, our PR representatives, to the States,” Young British Designers (YBD) founder Debra Hepburn says. “Her trip is an important opportunity for us to share the work of our talented designers with a US audience. Our American friends have been really supportive as we have expanded our site."

YBD was launched in September 2010 with the mission of creating the first dedicated retail environment purely focusing upon young UK fashion talent. Designers include up-and-coming names such as Charlotte Taylor, David Longshaw, Felicity Brown, J.W. Anderson, Olivia Rubin, Partimi, and Yan To, to name a few.

“Felicity will be back and forth between the UK and US over the next two months and will be covering every detail of her trip on a special blog that we have set up,” Hepburn states.

Felicity’s US tour will begin in New York City and continue across the country, ultimately ending in California.  Influential US fashion bloggers and industry professionals such as Crosby Noricks, Sara Zucker, Marie Denee, Brittany Haas, Sarah Conley, and Rachel Meis will make appearances during the YBD on Tour campaign.  Felicity’s blog will serve as a journal, recording her experiences as she introduces YBD to the USA.

YBD hired strategy consultants Jessica Quillin and Krista Peck of Atelier 36 (www.atelier-36.com) to develop and manage the YBD On Tour initiative. Atelier 36 is a strategic consultancy focused on solutions for the luxury, fashion, beauty, and lifestyle industries.
