Marc Chapman, a member of the Kent Minigolf Club said “I'm looking forward to playing in Portugal for the first time this year as part of our preparations for the European Championships at the same venue this August. Although we are not entering any teams into the Nations Cup it will still provide an excellent opportunity to develop my own skills as well as introducing James to the Miniaturegolf and Concrete styles of minigolf course for the first time. I'm sure that our Portuguese friends will be the perfect hosts and I'm looking forward to discovering more about the city of Porto in our downtime.”
James Rutherford, captain of the Cambridgeshire Mini Golf Club said “I am delighted to be representing my country for the first time. I hope that I will be able to do myself proud out in Portugal. The European Game is different from the British-style and I am looking forward to learning as much as possible in preparation for the European Championships in August. There have been some great individual British performances in Europe recently and if I can come even close to matching those I will be delighted. Thanks to all of my teammates at the Cambridgeshire Mini Golf Club for their support in the build-up to the Nations Cup.”
