Visitors to Agency Name can get a first-hand look at the race car, which is an exact replica of the car driven to the 2007 and 2009 GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series Daytona Prototype Championships by Alex Gurney (son of racing legend Dan Gurney), two-time Toyota Atlantic champion Jon Fogarty, four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson and former Champ Car Champion Jimmy Vasser. GAINSCO and lead drivers Gurney and Fogarty will be competing in 2011 for their third title in five years in the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series.
The GAINSCO team has broken records all across the motorsports circuit and the duo of Gurney and Fogarty has won 13 races since 2007. The team also finished second in the 2008 season-opening Rolex 24 At Daytona where Johnson and Vasser were also part of the all-star driver line up.
Visitors can see the 500-horsepower car up close, take pictures and get a true sense of high-speed road racing action. Also on the scene will be the car’s custom hauler, which is a show in itself, featuring an 80-foot-wraparound mural painted by famed motorsports artist Bill Patterson.
While at the show car appearance, guests can receive free quotes on GAINSCO Auto Insurance from Garzor Insurance, as well as advice on how to save money on car insurance.
