By: Branson School District RE-82 Branson RE-82 School District Preliminary Third Grade Reading 2012 TCAP Scores The percentage of Branson students scoring proficient or advanced on the 2012 third grade reading TCAP was 78%. This is four percentage points above the state average (74%) and up fourteen percentage points from the district’s 64% in 2011. Branson School Online had 81% of their students who scored proficient or advanced on the 2012 third grade reading TCAP which is seven percentage points above the state average and up eighteen percentage points from the district average 2011 (63%). The district is very proud of the 3rd graders and their stellar performance on the 3rd grade reading TCAP this year. Although these averages are not expected to change, they will have a preliminary status until the student biographical data has been confirmed and the remaining TCAP scores (grades 4-10) have been released in July of 2012.
