‘Rex Patriot’, Robert Turner of Capitol Financial Solutions, Raises Funds for Rex Hospital Open

PRLog (Press Release) - May 15, 2012 - Robert C.  Turner, CLU, President & CEO of Capitol Financial Solutions was nominated and approved to serve as a ‘Rex Patriot’ for the 2012 Rex Hospital Open, held at TPC Wakefield Plantation in Raleigh, NC, June 6-12, 2012.  Rex Patriots are a civic minded group of individuals who are focused on raising funds and awareness for the Rex Hospital Open. Through their interaction with individuals and local companies, the Rex Patriots are integral to the overall fundraising effort and awareness of the Rex Healthcare Foundation’s charitable mission. The group has already surpassed its initial 2012 goal of raising $115,000 in incremental and new sales.

“Many in the community are familiar with charity golf at Rex and our commitment to improving the lives of our neighbors through better healthcare at Rex. Proceeds from the Rex Hospital Open will benefit Rex Cancer Care – supporting patients with cancer from discovery to recovery.” said Rex Hospital Open Tournament Director Carson Gilbert. “We're delighted to continue supporting this effort and are confident we will be successful," he said.

The Rex Patriots began in 2009 and today is comprised of more than 20 community business leaders. Their involvement in the Rex Hospital Open is essential for the tournament’s success. The Rex Patriot concept is modeled after the Salesmanship Club of Dallas that raises funds for the HP Byron Nelson Classic each year.
