“We want everyone to come out and kick off summer” says Sean Hayes, General Manager of Brownstone. “Every year we’ve grown and this year is no exception. We’ve doubled our ziplines to 12 including our new triple racing lines, a new beach area with volleyball, 2 new additional overhead wakeboard cables, a 70’ cargo net climb, expanded picnic areas, Guts & Glory obstacle course, new walking trails that lead to all activities within the park and our new cliff top picnic area with panoramic views of the park. Most important, on June 16th, we’re donating 50% of our gate fees to these amazing groups so the more folks that come out and play the more we’re able to donate to these great charities that are here supporting Connecticut kids.”
A DJ will be at the park all weekend to keep the festivities going.
As usual, the Mentoring in Motion weekend falls on Father’s Day. It’s a great way to give Dad a day he won’t forget, save on weekend passes, and help out great charities like Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters, True Colors, the thirteen DCF one on one mentoring partners across the state and the Governors Prevention Partnerships which include 160 programs statewide.
