When asked about his new feature, Weiss responds:
“Not everyone wants to jump head first into my piano course. It’s a little strange to most people as they’re not used to music being taught the way I teach it. I want to give students the ability to easily create on their own. A few chords, a simple technique, and that’s all a beginner needs to experience the joy of improvising on piano.”
The new lesson in the singles lineup is titled ‘August Fields’ and promises to show students how to not only improvise, but compose. Each single lesson includes a video, comprehensive lesson notes, and a chord chart.
Edward Weiss, who writes and performs piano for each lesson comments:
“I like to show students how I created something from scratch. This can be very inspiring as they see someone actually improvising or composing in front of them. My method is to show students how composers think so they can do likewise. It’s worked out pretty well so far.”
'August Fields' is the first new lesson in the stand alone piano lessons series with Weiss promising more to come.
The lesson ’August Fields’ can be found now at Weiss’s website. Students can purchase the lesson for $3.95 or get it free if they take the onine piano course. For more information and to learn more about Quiescence Music singles and the online piano course, visit http://www.quiescencemusic.com/
