May 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Outdoor Elements’ Team Building and Outdoor Activity Centre in Simonstone has just celebrated it’s first birthday and what a 12 months it has been. In its first year the activity centre has hosted team building and outdoor activity days for a broad range of clients from large companies to families and individuals and seen over 2000 visitors through its doors.

Word is spreading about the 7 acre woodland activity centre as more people discover the thrills of the exciting outdoor activities on offer including a 300 foot zip line, 40 foot climbing trees, 30 foot leap of faith, crate stack challenge, Jacob’s ladder and 80 foot archery range. As well as offering bespoke programmes to groups based on their aims and objectives the centre regularly offers sessions where individuals can book on and have a go. These individuals’ sessions have proved popular during school holidays for entertaining the kids and at weekends for families to have a new and different shared experience. The Outdoor Elements Archery club which meets at the centre every other Saturday is also gaining momentum.

One of the big attractions of the centre has been the exciting children’s birthday parties they can organise. A popular option is to shoot some arrows on the archery range before building dens in the woods and getting the fire going to boil a kettle for hot chocolate and toast marshmallows over the flames.

Corporate customers have included Lancashire NHS, Ribble Valley Homes, Burnley Football Club and Manchester Metropolitan University who have all benefited from having this fantastic facility in Lancashire.

The centre is looking forward to a busy summer as the better weather approaches more people are looking for new things to do outdoors. Outdoor Elements will also be out and about during the summer with its mobile Archery range which you may find at an event near you including Leyland Festival 7-8 July. Why not come and find them and try your shot?
