About Change The Definition
Following a life-changing trip Rebekah took to Ethiopia, Africa, volunteer teacher Rebekah Star, created a t-shirt design consisting of the poem that changes the definition of black in the shape of a globe surrounding a “power to the people” fist. That’s when Change the Definition Apparel Company, LLC was born. Change the Definition has made a commitment to create a bright future for America and Africa's at-risk youth by investing in literacy based projects and programs. The current projects include providing over 7,700 students with take home books and building a library in Ethiopia, Africa for kids who lack access to them.
