Reed shares why this challenge is her latest goal to conquer
WHAT: One of the most successful female fitness competitors the past decade, Northern Virginia Resident Lisa Reed maintains long days and busy schedules building her fitness company Lisa Reed Fitness while keeping herself in top condition. She's been focused on personal training, nutrition and motivation for herself as well as her numerous clients. She has achieved many goals over the years, including winning the USA Nationals, despite many setbacks including 14 surgeries and extended rehabilitation periods. Reed clearly has been an inspiration to many overcoming so many surgeries and rebuilding herself each time through the challenges of major physical rehabilitation programs.
Now her focus is on winning the new Under Armour Challenge.

I have always maintained the desire to use my athletic skills and experience to help improve others health and wellness and winning this competition would enable me to expand my reach and help many more people."

WHO: Lisa Reed is a past US National Fitness Champion who has taken her success as a fitness competitor to become a leader in personal training. Reed is a certified personal trainer; expert on nutrition and motivation and for the past decade has used her skills to help others.
A former personal trainer for women's tennis star Monica Seles, Reed has been featured as model, editor and athlete for sports nutrition and strength conditioning for numerous magazines including Oxygen, Muscle and Fitness.
Reed began her athletic career as a gymnast and earned a college athletic scholarship to Radford. She entered the world of fitness training at the National Cathedral School and held strength and conditioning positions for the University of Florida sports programs and The United States Naval Academy. When former World No. 1 tennis player Monica Seles began her comeback, Reed was brought on board. Reed lived with Seles and traveled internationally with her as her strength and conditioning/
It hasn't been a easy road for Reed, as over the years she has sustained numerous injuries requiring 14 surgeries that sidelined her for long periods of time.
Reed says the most challenging aspect is knowing that it takes a lot of hard work and perseverance to get your body back. She is living proof that after 14 surgeries that you can get your body back and be stronger mentally for it.
Reed, a native of Saratoga Springs, NY, started Lisa Reed Fitness in 2007. She has a team of trainers specializing in sport specific includes one-on-one personal training, group training, boot camp, weightloss and nutrition programs, as well as sport specific boxing and even a masseuse. Reed has clients in the DMV area as well as maintaining a client base across the US and internationally.
