PRLog - May 14, 2012 - WESTLAND, Mich. -- Detroit, MI May 18, 2012 – Singer songwriter L’Renee - who has received praise from the likes of Jill Scott, Common, and Kem of Universal Motown- will be ushering in the eve of summer with her very own music video titled, “Reflections.”

L’Renee’s release is not your typical song. The song is a depiction of a voyeur experience.
Lyrics like, “Do I have to break it down for you...I want to see your body doing what it do when I do it to you”, seem to have already caught the attention of listeners around the country.
“I got hate calls”, said L’Renee, when recounting an experience she had after performing for music mogul, founder of Uptown Records and discoverer of Mary J Blige, Andre Harrell. “I didn’t consider the fact that not everyone would be supportive of my grind”.
L’Renee is no stranger to controversy. Her single, “B-151”, released on L’Renee Musique Inc. in 2006 understandably received a mixed bag of reactions. However, ultimately it was that very song that landed her a finalist spot in the Super Soul Star Search conducted by Andre Harrell and eventually a spot touring with Universal Motown Recording Artist Kem.
From now until June 1, L’Renee will be giving away a private link for free on her website at www.lrenee.net. “It’s not about the money”, said L’Renee. “It’s a song I’m really proud of and I’m excited to finally share a spectacular visual to go with it. What’s even more important is that I get honest feedback regarding the quality before I present it to the rest of the world”.
Music fans can get a free private link to view her new music video. But remember, the free music video will only be up until June 2, 2012.
L’Renee is a critically acclaimed singer songwriter who has released 7 albums under L’Renee Musique Inc. Her music has been featured in independent films and in print publications such at Vibe Magazine, Detroit Free Press and Metro Times. She has toured internationally performing at such events as Essence Music Festival, Common Ground Foundation Gala, and Hoodie Awards.
