The Foundation for Financial Planning is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with the mission of helping people take control of their financial lives by connecting the financial planning community with individuals in need. This mission is achieved through grant support of pro bono advice and outreach activities. Programs supported include the U.S. Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Regiment, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the NAACP, Moneywise, Dress for Success, Rutgers University outreach, and many others nationwide. To date, over 7,600 financial planner volunteers have provided in excess of 92,000 hours of pro bono outreach and helped more than 126,000 individuals in need.
The golf outing includes a complete program of special events, 18 holes of golf, raffles, door prizes, live auction, and an awards banquet with cocktail reception and dinner.
