Financial Planning Association Of New Jersey To Hold Benefit Golf Outing

May 14, 2012 - PRLog -- The Financial Planning Association of New Jersey (FPANJ), in partnership with Lincoln Financial Advisors ®, is pleased to announce its first annual golf outing to benefit the Foundation for Financial Planning, to be held Tuesday, June 5th at Flanders Valley Golf Course in Flanders, NJ.

The Foundation for Financial Planning is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with the mission of helping people take control of their financial lives by connecting the financial planning community with individuals in need.  This mission is achieved through grant support of pro bono advice and outreach activities.  Programs supported include the U.S. Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Regiment, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the NAACP, Moneywise, Dress for Success, Rutgers University outreach, and many others nationwide.  To date, over 7,600 financial planner volunteers have provided in excess of 92,000 hours of pro bono outreach and helped more than 126,000 individuals in need.
