Transparency in climate protection with just one click
Using logos with QR codes (quick response codes) makes a company’s commitment accessible to all target groups in a quick and easy manner. When scanning the individualized QR code with a smartphone, an online certificate is automatically called up showing all the information relevant to the process of accounting and offsetting carbon emissions – this means that anyone can review the level of carbon emissions generated and which carbon offset project is being used to save those emissions on global level. That same information can also be made available by entering an individual ID number at www.climatepartner.com. Due to the high level of international demand, this innovative identification system is now already available in seven languages.

From a national industry solution to an international solution system
The first industry that ClimatePartner successfully developed was the printing market. To do so, the solution provider invented the process of climate neutral printing, which is used to automatically account the emissions of print products and render them climate neutral. This process was originally conceived as a national industry solution in the interest of changing the printing market in Germany. Due to the high level of demand in further countries and industries, ClimatePartner developed an international, multi-industry solution system.
