If you have a collection of fine china or quality ornaments then you will want to display them at their best.
Fine China is often one of the most treasured heirlooms in nearly any home. From special occasion dinners to family holidays, bringing out the good China is equated with special memories.
Your display can consist of a variety of china or a unique collection of plates. Some china cabinets have plate rails or grooves for displaying your plates upright. If your cabinet does not offer this feature, obtain plate stands in an appropriate size for the plates you are showcasing. It’s a good idea to have the plate stands available anyway in case you decide to place smaller plates in front of larger ones.
The purpose of display is to show off the qualities and variety of your collection and, to do that, you’ll need to know how best to arrange your fine china.
Place large dinner plates and platters on the bottom shelf, in the back of the cabinet. Stand smaller plates, such as dessert or bread plates, in front of the larger plates. Place china coffee cups in their saucers. Arrange them so they don’t completely cover the plates behind them.
