Graco My Ride 65 and Britax Roundabout 50 Convertible car seats are on sale at Target for $100 right now (35-38% off). Great Deal! According to Baby Bargains, the Roundabout gets an A rating (highly recommended) and the My Ride gets a C (mainly because of difficult installation/adjustment and the cup holders not being removable, which makes extra bulk and a tight fit in some cars). The My Ride is larger, has built-in cup holders, and has a higher forward-facing weight limit. The Britax will probably fit better in a smaller car & airplane. If you're in the market for a convertible car seat, take advantage of this sale! I don't think Britax goes on sale very often.

I picked up the Britax in Ashton. Given Penny's stats (80th percentile height, 6th weight), there's no way she'll outgrow her car seat on weight before height, and the height limits are the same on both. We don't have a minivan, so I wanted to get the more compact car seat. I've also just heard really great things about the Britax brand, and I trust the Baby Bargains book. However, I've also heard good things about the My Ride if you have a bigger car, and I'm sure they're both very safe. Happy shopping!
