On behalf of Sterlite Copper, Dr.R.Kailasam, Chief Medical Officer, Sterlite Copper handed over a cheque for Rs 1,20,000 to Dr.Rajendrarethinam, Medical Superintendent, (TGMCH) towards annual maintenance charges for housekeeping work at the paediatric block. This will help to provide proper facilities to the 40 inpatients who get treated every day.
The paediatric block was built by Sterlite Copper in the year 2009 at a cost of Rs 80 lakh. The sponsorship will help the patients in the block to be in the safe and clean environment during the treatment. Mr.R.Rajasekarapandy, Head – Corporate Social Responsibility, Sterlite Copper was also present during the event.
