It is very important to Jennifer Kubik, owner of Franklin Dancewear, that the store have a home town, boutique-ish feel. Much of the stores inventory will be dedicated to locally made products, in an effort to help boost the local economy. In addition, special order costuming for the busy performance season is available and with the assistance of local seamstresses, Franklin Dancewear will also create one-of-a-kind costumes upon request.
Jennifer was quick to state, “My goal is to create an environment where all dancers feel comfortable and aren’t afraid to ask questions about how things are supposed to fit. I also want the whole experience to be enjoyable, not rushed or like that feeling you get when you’re in a big chain store.”
Franklin Dancewear is located at 320 Liberty Pike, Suite A 104 in the Jamison building across from The Factory of Franklin. Owned and operated by Franklin resident, dance instructor and a member of the Epiphany Dance Company of Nashville, Jennifer Kubik, the retail store is poised to be the premier spot for dance apparel, dance accessories and costumes throughout the year and a welcome spot for beginners and experts alike.
