The event, which takes place, Saturday, May 19, 2012, from 12:00 p.m. – 2 p.m., is a two hour guided walking The tour will begin in the heart of downtown at Campus Martius Park. D:hive Tour Company will provide the professional tour guides for the day. After friendly preliminaries, we will start on a fun filled educational experience while getting to know our neighbors. It will be an experience like none other. Shawn Lee, a photographer who founded I SEE DETROIT says, “I've lived in Detroit all of my life and I'm ashamed to admit that I didn't know much of anything about my city . . . but what I’ve found through study, is the affirmation that Detroit is amazing!" He also says, “Many of us have roots and history here.
