The BBB will fairly list any complaints, but they will also state if a complaint was resolved or is unresolved. It’s not necessarily the BBB Accreditation Membership that determines if a company is reputable or not. The BBB Accreditation is simply a membership that you purchase if you qualify for it. If you visit www.bbb.org you will be able to research a company’s complaints, if they were unresolved, what was the nature of the complaint, how many years the company has been in business, what is their rating (A-F), etc…. The Better Business Bureau will list all complaints, if they were resolved, unresolved and more. Therefore the BBB is a good place to look for reputable Debt Settlement Companies and also getting to see any real complaints on a company.
