The novel follows Stuart Lorenz, who must sort through family mysteries, decades-old conflicts and WWII letters as he searches through stunning National Park landscapes for his father’s “Holy Grail.”
“It started as an homage to National Parks,” Thakar said. “When I was able to weave in the mysteries of the father’s past, I knew I had a story that readers could relate to and characters they would want to root for.”
The story opens several days after the patriarch’s death, when his family is given instructions to resolve some unfinished business, but their ultimate goal is anything but clear.
Be Safe Brother is priced at only $4.99.
