Polow Da Don's Foundation F.O.C.U.S. Presents Third Installment of the "F.O.C.U.S. 4 LIFE" Campaign

May 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Polow Da Don, Zone 4, Inc. & Foundation F.O.C.U.S. will present the "F.O.C.U.S. 4 LIFE” campaign kickoff this Friday May 11th.   To commemorate the 5th anniversary of the C4AC (Celebration 4 A Cause: Where Music Meets Fashion For A Cure) benefit, Foundation F.O.C.U.S. with support from the American Cancer Society initiated the “F.O.C.U.S. 4 LIFE” campaign. The campaign is a global initiative that was launched to highlight cancer fighting efforts and to involve the community in a more robust capacity.  The campaign consists of a viral component including social media and celebrity driven public service announcements, 
photo-shoots, and other fundraising events.  The campaign is comprised of (4) four core pillars: Education, Prevention, Treatment and Finding a Cure. 


This year marks the third installment of the campaign and the social media component is set to kickoff this Friday, May 11th complete with a fund-raising mixer hosted by Polow da Don and friends from 6-8p.m. at Do At The View in Atlanta, Georgia.  This fundraising mixer will be the first of several fundraising events this year to be rolled out over the next two months leading up to the culminating C4AC benefit.  The C4AC benefit features a night of music, fashion, artistic expression and will be held at the Georgia Freight Depot in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday, July 15.

The visual component consists of an ad campaign shot by renowned celebrity photographers which have included Derek Blanks, Drexina Nelson, Hannibal Mathews, and Meeno Peluce. It features celebrity figures who have donated their time and efforts through raising awareness of the fight against cancer.  Past campaign ambassadors have included Keri Hilson, Jessica White, Laurieann Gibson, Cynthia Bailey, Laz Alonso, Michelle Williams, Lance Gross, Teedra Moses, Bianca Golden, Tank, Timothy Bloom, V.Bozeman and Rashan Ali.  This year’s lineup is set to be revealed in phases beginning in June leading up to the C4AC benefit. “We’re definitely excited to wow everyone with the type of celebrity presence we have to celebrate our 5th year, as it’s a milestone year for us” said Clay West, Creative Director of the campaign and the C4AC benefit.
