The new film ‘The Lost Generation’, directed by Mark Ashmore is a feature film based upon the current generations frustrations with current political issues such as the occupy movement, student loans, and government cuts which have lead to a year of protesting. The film has been shot in its entirety, however the budgets ran out before the edit process had taken place.
The new funding project has been set up to help built a state of the art edit suite at the home of Future Artists in the Black Lion in Salford. The edit suite will then become part of a community project which allows other film makers to have use of the facilities and expand Manchesters exciting film making future.
“I have a background in media, and started a business from scratch so I can really indentify with Future Artists. Its amazing to be able to help support Manchesters creative film makers and build a studio that can be used by the wider community.
