Cushman & Wakefield Promotes Hollander to Senior Director

May 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Cushman & Wakefield, Inc.'s (http://www.cushwake.com/) Harlan Hollander, JD, of Manhattan has been promoted to the position of senior director, Brokerage Services, in the company's East Rutherford office. The appointment marks his third advancement with the commercial real estate services firm.

Hollander joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2005 and specializes in corporate advisory and tenant representation. He is a member of one of Cushman & Wakefield's top producing brokerage teams and has represented multiple Fortune 500 corporations. During the past year, he has been involved in a number of notable office lease transactions, including 132,000 square feet for Verint Systems, Inc., 52,000 square feet for HCL America, 40,000 square feet for Spencer Savings Bank and 25,000 square feet for Optimer Pharmaceuticals. His clients also include The Federal Reserve Bank, Rockwood Holdings, GS1 US, The Christopher Reeve Foundation and Stop & Shop, among others.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Hollander practiced law at a Manhattan-based law firm, specializing in litigation. Gualberto "Gil" Medina, Cushman & Wakefield's New Jersey executive managing director, notes that this background has contributed to Hollander's success in the real estate services arena over the past seven years.

Hollander earned a bachelor's degree in business consulting at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and continued his education at New York Law School, where he obtained his JD degree. Hollander is a licensed New Jersey salesperson and an admitted attorney in the State of New York. He is active in charitable work for the American Cancer Society, the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, the Ovarian Cancer Society and the MaxCure Foundation.
