2012 is a Big year for Swansea’s London 2012 Live Site!

PRLog (Press Release) - May 10, 2012 - The city’s Big Screen in Castle Square became an official London 2012 Live Site on 1 May 2012.  Swansea’s London 2012 Live Site will feature all the build up to and sporting action from the Games with Castle Square also welcoming the Olympic Torch on Saturday 26 May when the Olympic Torch Relay comes to Swansea.  

Celebrations continue into June when the Live Site plays host to three days of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with events and activities between 3-5 June. Castle Square will be awash with red, white and blue to mark the festivities.

With a host of other major sporting occasions such as Wimbledon and Euro 2012 on the calendar, the annual summer family films and live link-ups to musical performances including the Royal Opera and Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend, Castle Square is the only place to watch and enjoy some fantastic free events.
