May 10, 2012 - PRLog -- This year tourists around the world will see the best of British when visiting for holidays or maybe coming especially to the UK to join the British nation in celebrating their Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

What a summer is lined up for all to enjoy, as one event stumbles into the next event, every calendar in UK homes will be jammed packed with organized events for the Jubilee celebrations.  Many towns across the UK are embracing this huge occasion by hosting plenty of parties, sports games and children’s events.

The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations will fall within the school half term break, and this will then tumble into the Euro 2012 and of course followed by the excitement of the Olympics starting with the arrival of the Olympic flame to Cornwall on the 19th of May.

The place to choose for a holiday break has to be Devon and Cornwall, there is so much planned in these counties especially for the children, it will surly make this the most memorable holiday ever.  At St. Mawes Cornwall, on Monday 4th June, there will be a re-enactment of the Queen’s Coronation of 1953 and will be called ‘The Children’s Coronation’ it will last for an hour, and the performance will begin with the coach procession, and the principal roles will be taken by the young children of St. Mawes School.

Choose a perfect base and travel around both Devon and Cornwall and join in the celebrations, a caravan park Cornwall or maybe use Devon as a base and enjoy all that is on offer.  This is a once in a lifetime experience for adults and children to witness.

The West Country is and always has been a preferred holiday destination, but this year will certainly be special.  Cornwall caravan parks are peppered right across the county, and this type of holiday is perfect when you will be out and about checking out what is going on, no set meal times, no not being able to go back to your guest house room during the day, freedom to come and go as you please, perfect, especially for children who do not like rules and regulations at the best of times.

Campsites in Cornwall can be great fun, and of course children think this as a big adventure, furthermore campsites today are certainly not like they used to be, you have fantastic facilities, you can enjoy sleeping under canvas, or rent a static caravan or tow your own caravan and site it on large plots with parking adjacent.

A spokesman for Wooda Farm Holiday Park a family owned and run park in Bude North Cornwall said, “yes there is a lot planed for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, all over both Devon and Cornwall, and of course you are free to choose either a Devon caravan park or stay here with us on our superb holiday park, either way you will have a great time”.

This type of self-catering is now becoming very popular, and holidaymakers migrate to either a campsite Devon or one in Cornwall to use as a base while touring around both counties.

2012 is a special year in the British calendar, not only for UK residents but for many tourists from around the world.  Enjoy the best of British.
