“We are pleased to be making two major moves in 2012, launching PopConLA, and bringing both PopCon & ITVfest to downtown LA,” said Co-Executive Director, Ken Nicholas. He continued, “To that end, we also see an opportunity to bring in public audiences that wouldn’t normally the see works being screened at a tv/film festival, by cross-promotions and joint events. If successful, this would be an added benefit to those chosen as ITVfest Official Selections.”
Co-Executive Director, Frank Zanca, said, “We are very excited about expanding into the Convention Center and making ITVfest the anchor for PopConLA. This will allow a larger viewership for our filmmakers' work as well as bringing a larger awareness to the Festival.”
