The feature is similar to what Apple or Amazon use to sell e-books, music, images, etc.

The new Digital Delivery App allows PD-go! Web Solutions’ e-commerce clients to offer their website visitors the ability to purchase digital items, such as e-books, digital audio files or high resolution photos, and then immediately download the product by clicking a unique URL link that is included in the email receipt.

PD-go! clients can choose to limit the number of downloads of the product by maximum download number and within a designated time period, for example allowing up to three downloads in 48 hours from purchase date, or up to five downloads in an unlimited time period.

As with all PD-go! web page content, the website owner can change the details about the product anytime they wish, including product name, price, the actual product file, and keywords that can help search engines find the web page.
