East Bay BMW Earns Ninth Center of Excellence Award

May 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Pleasanton, CA—May 7, 2012—BMW of North America has named East Bay BMW a 2012 Center of Excellence Award winner.  This is the fifth year in a row and the ninth time overall the dealership in Pleasanton, California has earned this distinction. Only thirty one of the three-hundred thirty-nine BMW dealerships in the United States were named Centers of Excellence this year.  The award is intended to celebrate BMW’s top performing dealerships in terms of customer satisfaction, brand representation, and operational profitability. East Bay BMW was a Center of Excellence in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.  

Because BMW is the Official Automotive Partner of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and a sponsor of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams, they will send the thirty-one Center of Excellence Award winners to London this summer as a reward for their achievements.  Those who attend will see the fleet of 4,000 vehicles BMW put together to serve the Olympic transportation needs in action.  Transporting athletes, officials, and equipment from site to site tops the list of planned uses for the BMW fleet, but the vehicles will also pull boats in and out of the water, tow horse trailers, and serve as mobile camera platforms during marathons.
