May 9, 2012 - PRLog -- IRVINE, Calif. – Celebrating 10 years of hosting networking and educational events for the Southern California business and technology community, TechBiz Connection will host a forum on what it takes to successfully and profitably develop custom software on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the law offices of Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear in Irvine.

According to Jack Bicer, TechBiz Connection president, companies need every edge they can get to succeed in the current competitive marketplace, because for many companies, custom software provides the edge they need: improved productivity and efficiency leading to cost reductions; easier to use services leading to increased customer satisfaction and retention; and a new needed product or service that is not available anywhere else.

Unique to a particular company, custom developed software can provide all that and more. But it is a challenging process, Bicer noted. “With an industry average project success rate of 29%, there is a lot of room for improvement. Our expert panel has repeated proven project successes and have years of time and battle tested tricks and tips that lead to success in software development,” he said.
