Colorado Access is the State Room sponsor for the 23rd annual “Salute to Seniors” event

May 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Colorado Access, a nonprofit health plan, announces that it will be the State Room sponsor for the Colorado Gerontological Society’s (CGS) 23rd annual “Salute to Seniors” event.  This year, the conference theme is “Titanic”.  The event will take place at the Colorado Convention Center on May 11, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

As the State Room sponsor, Colorado Access will offer senior-health orientated presentations, exercise and nutrition information, Zumba Gold, one-on-one question and answer sessions with physicians and pharmacists, prizes and much more for all Salute to Seniors attendees.  Colorado Access will also have a photo booth available for attendees to take memorable and vintage-looking pictures with family and friends.

“I am very excited about this event and look forward to it every year.  It brings together entertainment, fun and education,” said Dr. Genie Pritchett, Senior Vice President of Medical Services at Colorado Access and State Room presenter for Salute to Seniors.  “Colorado Access has a full schedule of events for attendees to enjoy.  Along with my colleagues, I am especially excited to highlight educational presentations for seniors, like Healthy Aging for Women and Men, Osteoporosis and Nutrition, and Movement as Medicine.  Everyone is welcome to stop by the State Room to take pictures, ask questions, learn more, win prizes and walk away with something helpful.”

Salute to Seniors is an annual event hosted by CGS.  The event brings in approximately 2000 attendees and countless exhibitors and sponsors.  The Colorado Gerontological Society is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1980.
