SPRINGFIELD – State Sen. Bill Brady (R-Bloomington) welcomes members of the Bloomington-Normal Hotel and Lodging Association to his office in the Capitol April 25 as part of the Illinois Hotel and Lodging Association’s Legislative Day activities. Jeff Pritts, Marriott, Normal; Ron Oliver, Holiday Inn & Suites, Bloomington; Julie Bushell, Parke Hotel and Conference Center, Bloomington; Michelle Irvin, Holiday Inn & Suites, Bloomington were in attendance for this event.
Topics of discussion included:  views on gaming/casinos, tourism budget, trends in the hotel industry specifically the increase of occupancy for the Bloomington-Normal market, and the financial status of the State of Illinois.  
Sen. Brady has been a friend of the Illinois Hotel and Lodging Association.  The hoteliers of the State of Illinois appreciate and recoginize his efforts to maintain fair and reasonable laws that effect our industry.
