East Main Vision Clinic’s (EMVC) “Eyes to You” new online service, allows patients throughout the Pacific Northwest to shop and buy prescription eyewear, easily and securely, at their convenience without sacrificing quality or excellent customer service. Vision needs can be met via the internet through this simple and fun web interface.
“Eyes to You” patients get quality ophthalmic lenses, and have a variety of eyeglass frame shapes, sizes and types — including designer frames, for adults and children, from which to choose.
Online shoppers can have frames sent to them so they can spend a few days trying them on before making a final purchase. It’s simple: Pick out 5 or less frames and EMVC ships the try-on frames for free to the patient. Then, the patient sends back the try-on frames to EMVC using the pre-paid shipping package provided for the return.
“Eyes to You” offers another option: Virtual Try-on. While on EMVC’s “Eyes to You” site, a shopper can “try on” frames by uploading his or her photo and clicking on a frame of choice.
Completing the order is just as simple as the shopping. There are several different ways to pay, and many insurance plans are accepted. From there, EMVC’s skilled technicians personally review and verify each order and the corresponding prescription. Orders are processed at EMVC’s trusted lens manufacturer. Before being shipped to the patient, eyewear is inspected for quality assurance.
EMVC accepts many different insurance plans. For added convenience, EMVC can bill patients’ insurance providers directly.
The Puyallup, WA.- based EMVC, led by long-time optometric physician Dr. Joseph Day, began offering “Eyes to You” online service, on a trial basis, on Feb. 8, 2012 along with its traditional services. For years, EMVC’s clinic has been full-service, serving patients throughout the Pacific Northwest in a professional and caring environment with state-of-the art equipment and technology.
“EMVC provides excellent customer service — regardless of whether orders are made online or in person,” Dr. Day said. “Our experienced optical technicians are professionals who are among the best in the industry.”
