Richboro, PA – Tyler Park Center for the Arts is hosting an Alice in Wonderland themed "Mad Hatters Garden Party" Art Auction and Benefit featuring live musical entertainment, local Bucks County chef offerings, wine and beer in partnership with Autism Cares Foundation on Saturday, June 2, 2012, from 7 – 11 p.m.at Tyler Park Center for the Arts bucolic Barn Studio, 10 Stable Mill Trail, Richboro, PA.
"This exciting pairing of TCPA and Autism Cares is an opportunity to showcase all Artists and local area restaurants in a fun, storybook setting," TCPA Executive Director Jennifer Miller said recently. "We're featuring whimsical and functional Tea Pots, Accoutrements, and Garden Arts in both our Live and Silent Auctions, and hope the community will support TCPA and Autism Cares by joining us for a delightful evening of art, charm and chatter.”
A Live Auction Preview, Silent Auction & Tasting will be held from 7 – 8:30 p.m. followed by a Live Auction with famed Auctioneer Larry Keller from 8:30 – 10 p.m. Evening-long musical entertainment opens with Classical Guitarist and Vocalist Andrea Carlson with Bruce Malcolm on Upright Bass; followed by Jim Arcus on Vocals and Banjo. Tyler Park Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization supporting artists and artisans sharing their talents and experiences with the Bucks County area community through art-based educational programs. Funds raised from the Mad Hatters Garden Party support the arts and art based education in Bucks County. Autism Cares Foundation is a non-profit corporation and 501C3 charity that provided over 100 outings this past year enabling participants opportunities for social interaction, skills building and enriching life experiences. Autism Cares Foundation goal for this 2012 fund raising event is to expand its offerings and continue to strive toward its long term vision of creating a comprehensive Autism Resources Center.
