The Significance of Corporate Social Responsibility

PRLog (Press Release) - May 9, 2012 - Q3 Technologies has always believed that the way we do our business affects, in some way or another, the environment around us. If a conscious effort is made towards it, the impact can be a positive one. With this motive in mind, Q3 understands the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility and is fully committed to address the on-going issues and needs of the societal challenges by taking part in various initiatives that help in promoting the social well being of the unfortunate sections of the society striving to fulfill their basic needs.

As part of its CSR initiatives, Q3 Technologies became an active partner with Sanshil Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Gurgaon. The main focus of this foundation is the welfare of underprivileged children and women.

During the 3 years of partnership with Bagiya, a school for little children from Sanshil, Q3 has held a responsible attitude and has been instrumental in creating a huge difference in lives of the members of Sanshil through various welfare programs, activities and events.

-   Daily Nutrition: The children are given meals on a daily basis while keeping a watch on their nutrition requirements.

-   Educational Tools: Q3 provides books, notebooks, tools, stationeries and other educational material for the children for their intellectual growth.

-   Training and Educating: The women members of Sanshil are given vocational training empowering them to get jobs in the outside world. Q3 employees volunteer to teach the children at Bagiya on a regular basis.

-   Apart from this, Q3 is also actively involved in organizing and participating in campaigns to donate/distribute food products, clothing and other gifts to the underprivileged children of Sanshil.

These developments have tremendously helped the children and adults of Sanshil to achieve an all round growth. The children are going to school to learn new things and to realize their dream of obtaining professional education in the future. The women are now producing handmade products like bags, covers and simple clothes which are sold in the local markets.

Recent Events

On March 7th 2012, Q3 Technologies sponsored the Sports Day of 'Bagiya', a project initiated by Sanshil. Q3 coordinated the sports activities and distributed sweets and snacks among the children. T-shirts were provided by Q3 as part of the sponsorship and many employees volunteered to help out in managing various event activities.
