May 8, 2012 - PRLog -- When searching for debt settlement assistance and debt settlement partnership opportunities, both consumers and business owners need to know what to look for and what to stay away from.  This article will help consumers and also business owners looking into debt settlement affiliate programs, with understanding more about how to find reputable debt settlement companies to work with.  It is important to know how to find real complaints on a company, what to look for when doing your due diligence on debt settlement companies and what not to pay so much attention to.

Business owners can visit http://www.goldenfs.org/debt-relief-blog/debt-affiliates/, for more information.

When researching complaints on a debt settlement company or any company, it is imperative that you look at the nature of the complaint, where the complaint is being listed, the source of the complaint, how fast complaints are responded to and if they end up being resolved.  On the other side, you also want to look up positive factors on the company such as, has the company been in business for over 5 years, does the company have satisfied clients, is the company compliant with the law and does the company have testimonials.  Companies need to address a complaint if it occurs.  Golden Financial Services has their 48 hour policy.  If there is a complaint it needs to be addressed and the goal is to have it resolved by 48 hours.  Action needs to be taken towards getting a complaint resolved immediately if a complaint arises.  http://www.linkedin.com/pub/paul-paquin/4b/b67/a94

After looking at the track record with Golden Financial Services over the years, we are finding some complaints, but when comparing them to positive factors such as how many people have been helped and financially saved by Golden Financial Services, the results say it all.  Golden Financial Services has 0 unresolved customer complaints. http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Golden-Financial-Service...

Not that the 2 have anything to do with each other, but if you look up “St Jude’s Hospital Complaints” on Google, complaints will show up too.  St Jude’s Hospital is just an example, but there are 1000s of other examples that could be named.  St. Jude’s Hospital provides treatment to children diagnosed with catastrophic diseases regardless of a family's ability to pay.  How can anyone make a complaint about this hospital, it’s just not right.  Obviously St. Jude’s Hospital is a reputable hospital.  If you look up St. Jude’s Hospital at the BBB Site, you will find very few complaints and they were all resolved.  The point is, yes you can find complaints on good organizations.

When looking to find out if a debt settlement company is reputable there are places to look, and places not to look.  A good source for looking up complaints on a company is the Better Business Bureau, especially when it comes to the debt settlement industry.  The BBB will justly list any and all complaints, but they will also state if a complaint was resolved or is unresolved.  It’s not necessarily the BBB Accreditation membership that determines if a company is reputable or not.  The BBB accreditation is a membership that you purchase if you qualify for it.  If you visit www.bbb.org you will be able to research a company’s complaints, if they were resolved, what was the nature of the complaint, how long the company has been in business, what is their rating (a-f), etc….  That is important when researching a company and determining if they are reputable.  The BBB will list all complaints, if they were resolved and more.  Therefore the BBB is a good place to look for reputable Debt Settlement Companies and also getting to see any real complaints on a company if they even exist.  Golden Financial Services currently has an A Rating with the Better Business Bureau out of San Diego California.

Regarding reputable companies this article will also provide you 5 important points. http://www.prlog.org/11820803-golden-financial-services-t...

Where NOT to look when doing your due diligence on reputable debt settlement companies is not so easy, but if you’re smart, you will be able to figure this out.  There are many companies out there that will promote their business, by putting down good companies.  At this time names cannot be mentioned, but on future articles we will list sites to stay away from and why.  It’s like a fiction book where you know it’s not all real, but people still read it because it’s entertaining.  When reviewing complaints on a company it is important to identify the source of a complaint, who is writing the complaint online or listing the complaint on their site, and what is their intent.  Are they under investigation for fraud or any type of internet illegal activity?  Are they a felon?  Anyone can write anything when it comes to the internet.  Be smart and research companies in the appropriate places when doing due diligence on debt settlement companies.

Everyone knows about the BBB and that it’s a safe source that allows you to check on companies, but aside from the BBB, how do you really know if a source is reliable?  Ruth Adorno, currently working at Golden Financial Services in the Quality Assurance Department says “one way to determine if a source is reliable would be to find out if that source has a mediation department or dispute resolution process.  If there is no dispute resolution process on the site or with the company that is providing information regarding business complaints, an immediate red flag should go up.  At that point, be very careful about what site you are on and don’t just click on anything.  Currently there is an investigation in place regarding fraudulent sites that provide false information on the internet."  Names of companies and websites cannot be given at this time, but on future articles you will get to read more in detail on this subject.  http://www.prlog.org/11820877-golden-financial-services-discusses-the-future-of-debt-settlement.html
