Connecticut ComiCONN Returns to Let Comic and Sci-fi Fans Meet Their Heroes!

Connecticut’s COOLEST celebration of comics, sci-fi, toys, cosplay and collectibles returns for its 3rd annual event at the Marriott in Trumbull, CT on Saturday, August 18, 2012. Meet comic creators from Marvel and DC Comics such as best-selling authors Peter David and Joe Kelly, artists Billy Tucci and Chris Giarrusso and many others. Get sketches and talk to the folks who created the heroes you marvel at!  

ComiCONN has over 140 tables of exhibitors selling comics, original artwork, toys and collectibles. Rub elbows or tentacles with the most creative costume players this side of the galaxy - from Star Wars Stormtroopers to super-powered heroes; you won’t want to miss a chance to get a photo with your favorite heroes and villains thanks to cosplayers from the Conn Squad 501st and Intent 2 Sell Films! See a working R2-D2 from builder Dana Powers! There will be Batmobiles and the Green Hornet's - The Black Beauty courtesy of the Jersey Trio!  Real live creatures that inspired comic characters like the Lizard, Tarantula and the Owl compliments of the Beardsley Zoo! See and buy original comic book art from Anthony’s Art! Hourly door prizes including Spider-Man posters signed by the legendary Stan Lee!
