MAPEI, leading global manufacturer of adhesives, sealants and chemical products for buildings, has announced that it supported Al Futtaim Carillion’s (AFC) “Don’t Walk By Awards” ceremony, an initiative that was designed to get AFC’s employees, sub-contractors, suppliers and clients involved in the three key areas of health & safety, quality and sustainability. The “Don’t Walk By Awards” ceremony was recently held at Boulevard Tower Site in downtown Business Bay.
MAPEI’s support reinforces the company’s reputation as a leading provider of premium-quality, eco-friendly building materials and value-added services. MAPEI provided prizes for awardees in the Health & Safety and Quality Sustainability categories.
Ian Gregory, Key Account Manager of MAPEI, said: “This is a great initiative that encouraged employees to be more responsible and not just walk by when they encounter various issues concerning health & safety, quality and sustainability. MAPEI shares the Awards’ vision to promote accountability in the workplace, which is a key factor in the success of any business organization. We will continue to explore more avenues for collaboration with key customers such as Carillion as part of our long-term growth strategy.”
