Group courses in Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) coming soon!

PMR offers you three major advantages to other forms of relaxation: 1) It is easy to learn. 2) It helps you to keep in balance and to avoid problems caused by tension. 3) You can practice it lying down or sitting, whatever suits you best.

PRLog - May 8, 2012 - WOOLWICH, U.K. -- PMR is based on the idea of tensing and relaxing specific muscle groups in your body in a progressive order.  You will feel the difference between tension and relaxation from the first moment. PMR helps you to find balance in your daily life and to become aware of the tensions in certain parts of your body, which may be caused by stress. The course is not a therapy of any kind. Its only aim is to teach you relaxed breathing and how to do the PMR, as well as providing you with information on how to boost your health and wellbeing.

The first introductory 4-week course will start on 19th May with sessions running from 7pm to 8:30 pm.  We are offering 4 or 5 people the chance to try out this exciting new relaxation practice AT NO COST. Places on the introductory course will be booked on a first-come-first-served basis.
From June, regular 8-session courses will be available with sessions every Saturday from 7pm to 8:30 pm. The regular course fee will be £10/person/session.  All you need to bring with you is the wish for relaxation, a thermal/yoga-style mat, a small pillow and a warm blanket.
Courses will be led by Marcus, who holds a certificate as a trainer for Autogenic Training and Progressive Muscle Relaxation and who is a member of the German Society for Relaxation Techniques (DG-E e.V.).
