Fugro Aperio structural investigations seminar
Speakers will demonstrate how advanced non-destructive investigations can be integrated with structural fabric and condition surveys to build a detailed picture of the subsurface while simplifying issues of safety, access, environmental impact and building possession.
The session will cover recent applications in modern and heritage buildings, and concrete and masonry structures including car parks, bridges and tunnels. Presenters will explain the benefits and limitations of techniques such as ground penetrating radar, ultrasonics and impact echo, ground resistivity, ground conductivity, visual surveys, and materials sampling and testing.
