By: Kevin Douglas Wright When bullying takes place, most spectators, observers, and witnesses do not know exactly what to do to stop bullying. The bullied ones desperately reach out and search for help. Who will answer that call for help if spectators, observers, and witnesses of bullying do not take action? "Imagine what it must be like for kids in school now. If we are in a position to help, we must look for ways to offer our support even if bullying does not directly influence our lives today," said Kevin Douglas Wright, Filmmaker. What should we do about bullying now that we are older? We know bullying still exists in schools around the world and it seems to be increasing. One of the best things to do is to take action and offer support. "Just think for a moment...right now...there is a young student out there terrified to go to school tomorrow because of a bully. That is unacceptable," Mr. Wright recently launched a campaign to support the production of a new film about bullies and bullying called 'The Good Bully'. It's a family film that will take us on a necessary journey where we all discover what would happen if a big bully turned against other big bullies? Why create a film about bullies and bullying? Film is inspirational. When we see great movies with great characters, we are sometimes influenced by what we see them do...the actions they take to solve problems. "The Good Bully will be a tense, gripping story packed with suspense, shocks, twists, and surprises. This family film will be inspirational and thought-provoking," Bullying has reached everywhere. Bullying takes many forms. There is cyber bullying. There is child bullying, teenage bullying, and adult bullying. There are bullying teachers and parents. There is bullying in the workplace by leaders and co-workers. Bullying can lead to depression, violence, and suicide. "It is our responsibility to contribute and do something to prevent the depression, violence, and suicide caused by bullying. It is in our hands," said Wright. The campaign to raise money, awareness, and free promotional support for 'The Good Bully' was launched on May 7th, 2012 and ends June 23rd, 2012. "Our goal is to raise at least $6,000 before June 24th, 2012 and we need your help," Wright said.
