Asidua announce new WanStaX Carrier Ethernet control stacks

May 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Asidua, a preferred supplier for PMC®’s Mobile and Broadband Division, today announced ‘general availability’ of a new suite of Carrier Ethernet control stacks - WanStax Carrier Ethernet (WCE).  The control stacks are built specifically for network infrastructure equipment providers, by supplying proven off-the-shelf software components thereby helping those companies meet the fast changing demands of today’s global telecoms industry.

Specifically designed for PMC’s WinPath network processor family, Asidua’s new WanStaX Carrier Ethernet (WCE) portfolio is a set of market ready, feature rich, control stacks incorporating Link Aggregation (IEEE 802.3ad), Link OAM (IEEE 802.3ah), CFM (IEEE 802.3ag) and Performance Monitoring (ITU-T Y.1731).

Offered via a royalty free commercial mode, each control stack within the WanStaX Carrier Ethernet suite is provided with a comprehensive documentation set and explanation of the reference applications, including details of how to port and build the stack for a new compiler or OS as well as step-by-step guides for integrating with a target solution.
