Enjoy the summer with EuroSchools

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - May 8, 2012 - It’s Vacation Time!! After a very studious and serious exam month, students everywhere want to just chill, relax and enjoy the summer holidays- but not just by being idle, rather develop their interpersonal skills and making new friends. That’s where summer camps play a vital role for children.
This year EuroSchool, Airoli is conducting a summer camp for students to pursue their interest in sports and music
The sports camp will offer coaching for two weeks to students aged 5-6 years in Athletics, Taekwondo, Gymnastics and Skating and students aged 7 onwards will be trained in Table tennis, basketball and Football.
For those opting for the music camp will have a chance to choose training in the keyboard, guitar, drums and / or Western vocals for the entire month.
Dr Natasha Mehta, Principal of EuroSchool Airoli Says, “summer camps give children an opportunity to have a very funfilled, fruitful and exciting summer holiday. Such initiatives allow children to explore and experience and have fun with activities other than just school work and television. Not only do they learn new skills or enhance old skills, but they also get a chance to mingle and make new friends, some of which last a lifetime.”
“Numerous studies have shown that students lose up to 2 months of learning during the summer. By conducting summer camps, we keep the brain of the child active and alert and they also continuously acquire more knowledge thus reducing the learning loss”, added Dr Natasha Mehta
